30 Hour Famine: This Weekend!

We’ve done it before and we’re excited to do it again because we love God, and He loves people! That’s right, it’s about time for the national 30 Hour Famine event, and the youth of FBC Fairdale are going to take it by storm.

“World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine is a worldwide movement of students who are serious about serving God and fighting hunger – all on an empty stomach.  For 30 hours, participants get a taste of hunger by not eating – something more than a billion people around the world experience every day. And by doing fundraising activities, community service projects, and learning more about the facts of world hunger, students are changed in amazing ways as they help others and save lives.”

Its THIS WEEKEND, February 26th-27th. The fast starts at 9am on Friday, and the lock-in at the church starts at 5pm Friday and runs to 3pm on Saturday. Be there, and fight hunger on an empty stomach.

Catechism in Rap

My boy Shai Linne demonstrates how Catechisms can be rapped, and the Truth be told in short “questions and answers”. You youth, learn and be encouraged.

Personal Spiritual Disciplines

Drew started teaching tonight a series on the personal “spiritual disciplines” of the Christian faith. Simply put, we’re learning how to use the gifts that God has given us to grow and look more like Christ. It’s going to be an amazing time to get your questions answered, and be encouraged and equipped for living the Christian life as a teenager in today’s world. Don’t miss it next week.

Be here,
